  Criterion Systems is seeking a mission-focusedSystems Administrator-Subject Matter Expert to support and contribute to our government customer’s success in the DC Metro area. The individual in this position must be a motivated team player that strives for professional and technical excellence as a Peoplesoft Administrator Subject Matter Expert.  Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  - Perform daily monitoring of the the PeopleSoft application including reviewing logs for the issues and ensuring that all required processes are operations. - Perform code migrations, Data Mover executions and in-app configurations between environments as required to support the development life-cycle. - Perform Tier 3 support and ad-hoc troubleshooting and for the application to diagnosis, repair, and report on technical issues that may be present. - Provide support of the database cloning process to ensure that the environments are the available for use. - Work closely with DBA administrators to research and the troubleshoot performance issues. - Perform HCM/PeopleSoft application configuration to support the Agency requirements. - Design, Install, and Configure the entire PeopleTools stack (PIA, App, PRCS, and Database install) on multiple networks and OS platforms. - Provide recommendations for the hardware requirements to meet the customer's PeopleSoft needs across multiple independent networks and evaluate. - Perform quarterly patching of all of the PeopleSoft components including WebLogic, PeopleTools, Tuxedo, Elasticsearch, etc.. - Perform maintenance of the the PeopleSoft HCM environment to include creating Change Packages using supplied tools and the selective adoption process. - Apply Change Packages across all development life-cycle environments. - Perform PeopleTools Updates/Upgrades as required to support the customer on multiple Windows and Linux based server systems.

The individual in this position must be a motivated team player that strives for professional and technical excellence in cyber security.  The individual in this role will operate and manage all aspects of Information Systems, data availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation.  They will also develop and execute security policies, plans, and procedures and ensure security measures of the network.   Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Provide Cyber threat intelligence services for the collection, fusion, analysis, creation, and distribution of threat intelligence from government entities, commercial feeds, open sources, and other partners to obtain situational awareness of the threat environment. - Provide Cyber threat intelligence services on an expanded 12x5 service support level during core hours and on-call support with two-hour response time during non-core hours. - Cyber threat intelligence services shall develop and disseminate reports and tippers to internal and external stakeholders based on events, alerts, and incidents on customer systems and networks. - Implements and monitors security measures for communication systems, networks, and provide advice that systems and personnel adhere to established security standards and Governmental requirements for security on these systems. - Designs and implements data network security measures; operates Network Intrusion Detection and Forensics; conducts performance analysis of Information Systems security incidents; develops Continuity of Operation (COOP)/Disaster Recovery (DR) plans and supports certification of Information Systems and Networks. - Supervises operation of Electronic Key Management System, other information security duties, and Public Key Infrastructure. - Receive tickets from other Cyber Security Operations Services sub-services and conduct detailed analysis to validate any event/alert/incident. - Coordinate and implement tasks, performing analysis, and building/documenting response activities required during Cyber Security incident response, to include but not limited to actions such as implementing containment measures, IP blocks, domain blocks, and disabling user accounts. - Coordinates with Security and Installations Directorate (SI) Office of Counterintelligence (SIC), Insider Threat Office (SIII), in addition to other law enforcement and personnel as required to perform advanced investigation and triage of incidents. - Collaborates on security incident reports. - Coordinates with other contracts, organizations, activities, and other services as appropriate to ensure incidents are properly reported, contained, and eradicated. - Coordinates with other contracts, organizations, activities, and other services as appropriate to de-conflict blue / red team activity with open incidents/events. - Builds time-lines, documents, briefings, and other products as required to inform stakeholders of incident response actions, analysis, and the impact of both adversary activity and blue force response actions. - Documents actions taken and analysis in the authorized ticketing system to a level of detail where the actions taken and analysis are capable of being systematically reconstructed. - Generates reports in the Joint Incident Management System (JIMS), Incident Case Management System (ICMS), and/or other systems.

The successful security engineer will become an integral part of the Cyber Security Project Engineering team focused on delivering innovative solutions which enhance the capabilities of the Security Operations Center to detect and identify threat activity and system intrusions.  This job will involve a range of software development activities including web applications, big data analytics, systems integration, and utility applications.  Development projects employ DevOps practices and Agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery of solution improvements aligned with customer requirements.  This role will be responsible, working closely with Engineering teams to identify, design, implement, and test automated processes for solution delivery. A strong IT background, as well as knowledge of both Windows and Linux administration services is very beneficial.  - Work closely with Project Engineering team and project stakeholders to deliver needed solutions in a timely manner.  - Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation which includes solution requirements, use cases, system dependencies, test plans, build and deployment processes, usage guides, build artifacts, and release notes.  - Collaboratively design and implement custom software solutions which satisfy project requirements.

Criterion Systems is seeking several candidates for various shifts as a Cyber Detection Analyst. These positions will be fixed shift, 4 days per week in McLean.    Available shifts are as follow: 1st Shift- (Sunday-Wednesday) 1st shift- (Wednesday- Saturday) 2nd shift- (Wednesday-Saturday)   The ideal candidates will be responsible for, but are not limited to: - Identifying misuse, malware, or unauthorized activity on monitored networks. - Analyzing all relevant cyber security event data and other data sources for attack indicators and potential security breaches. - Assisting in coordination during incidents. - Identifying intrusions utilizing various detection and prevention systems and other security event data sources on 24x7x365 basis.  - Analyzing intrusion related data to determine root cause and identify follow on activity while coordinating with Incident Handlers, Hunters, and various partners. - Correlating data from intrusion detection and prevention systems with data from other sources such as firewall, web server, and DNS logs, to include netflow, metadata, and pcap analysis. - Contributing in tuning and filtering of events and information, creating custom views and content using all available tools. - Reviewing assembled data with firewall administrators, engineering, system administrators and other appropriate groups to determine the risk of a given event. - Contributing to the development of playbooks and procedures for handling each security event detected.
