Criterion Systems is looking to hire an Information Assurance Analyst to support a government customer on a newly awarded contract.  Once hired, the individual shall provide cyber security expertise and assist in the following areas, this will include but is not limited to, incident handling, vulnerability detection and remediation strategies, insecure application development techniques, cloud environments and services.  - The individual shall support the security portion of the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA’s) DevSecOps implementation to include architecture diagrams, process and SOP documentation, and the integration and management of static code vulnerability scanners into the process. - The individual shall maintain a current inventory that will include but is not limited to, all FHWA network ranges, assets, groups, and custom groups within the DOT CDM BigFix tool. - The individual shall provide Information Assurance support for operations, business and administrative such as: planning, organizing, managing, coordinating, and tracking (e.g., report management, cost/schedule/performance measurement, risk management, data management). - The individual shall maintain FHWA core system documentation, via standardized templates, technical guides and baseline management with supporting checklists. You will be a key member of the leadership team, doing work that matters for some of the U.S. Government’s most critical missions, and utilizing the latest technologies in Cloud Computing, AI/ML, and SecDevOps.    The Systems Engineers work with our customers and other segments to define new features and Concepts of Operations (CONOPs) for an Computer Vision processing system. Using the Agile process, they perform backlog feature generation, work with Software Architects to define architectures that will support future roadmap capabilities using cloud technologies, define required parameters and data formats for ingest and discovery services, as well as supporting Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) with customers and other programs. Presentation packages are developed to communicate concepts, CONOPs, requirements and potential architectures to the customers, other segments and development teams. They follow the features during development across areas/scrum teams to ensure that the development converges on a coherent and unified system. The Systems engineers assist the test team in the development of program level demonstrations, as well as developing ICDs, training materials for systems operators and other architectural drawings and presentation materials. Oversee implementation and execution of functional, regression, and acceptance tests - Works with QA Manager and establishes priorities for testing, highlighting any issues, works with product management and engineers on individual features - Assists in formulating QA standards and best practices, organizational policies and processes and strategic plans - Assists management in setting the direction for quality assurance within the organization
