Criterion Systems is seeking to hire a Tier 2 Intrusion Analyst to support a federal government customer in Las Vegas, Nevada. Our staff provides cyber security support to the Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration.   The candidate will be an experienced senior technical member of a Security Operations Center (SOC) working in a 24x7 operational environment.  This position requires daily interaction with management, security personnel at customer sites, and government personnel with other federal agencies.  Applicant must be a positive, flexible, driven, self-starter requiring no direct supervision, with the capability to exceed in a fast-paced cybersecurity industry. Perform detailed troubleshooting, root cause analysis. Determine multi-user, multi-system correlations. - Tier III: Provide system administrative support to correct deficiencies noted in the trouble ticketing system for COTS and GOTS software packages. - Experience interfacing directly with customer and program management team. - Experience providing status to program management and input to customer status reports.

The User Engagement systems engineer focuses on working directly with customers, end users and development engineers to conceptualize, architect and present solutions that solve the toughest mission needs. The UE systems engineer plays a key role in the agile development process by acting as the interface between the end users and the development team to ensure that the delivered product meets or exceeds the users’ needs. He or she presents design artifacts or prototypes to users, gathers feedback, and works with the customer and development team to adjudicate feedback for potential incorporation into the in-work product or as future enhancements.   Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a cleared facility 100% of the time.
