Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer (Lead) to support a USDA contract. This position is 100% Remote

 

 Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities

 

As the Lead ServiceNow Developer, you will become a key member of an established team, tasked with supporting the operations and maintenance of enterprise applications that have both external and internal interfaces. You will participate in solutions architecture and system design, while also offering hands-on development expertise. You will collaborate with experienced team members to modernize existing applications in ServiceNow.

  • Leads technical design and development of the ServiceNow application including configuration, report development, and data migration, where applicable.
  • Performs hands-on prototyping and development, as needed.
  • Leads and performs custom development in ServiceNow (as required) and 3rd party integrations.
  • Oversees and carries out unit-testing and defect resolution. 
  • Oversees and carries out migration of the changes to production.
  • Leads technical design and documentation.
  • Creates component inventories, estimations, and development plans to support release roadmaps and level-of-effort assessments.
  • Collaborates with clients to review proposed architecture and system design.
  • Collaborates with internal team members to design and build solutions in ServiceNow that supports business requirements.

Qualifications

Required Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies

  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years technical software development experience, preferably in ServiceNow or other low-code platforms.
  • 3+ years of JavaScript coding/development skills in ServiceNow environments
  • Customer Service Management (CSM), Customer Service Management Implementation, and ServiceNow System Administration (admin or higher) certifications.
  • Experience in a Lead or Senior position
  • Demonstrated experience in IT Service Management, Field Service Management and/or Enterprise Asset Management.

 Preferred Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies

  • Active Public Trust Clearance
  • ServiceNow Customer Application Development (CAD) Certification a plus.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Mobile a plus.

 Certification

  • Customer Service Management (CSM) – Required
  • Customer Service Management Implementation – Required
  • ServiceNow System Administration (admin or higher) - Required

Security Clearance Level

  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to attain Public Trust clearance

 Work Schedule

  • Full-time remote

 

Pay Rate

  • The projected compensation range for this position is $180,000 - $194,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Criterion Systems considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
